Bonita Benn

Bonita Benn is an Attorney. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.

Bonita began her career as a real estate lending professional specializing in residential and business loan processing and closing. She eventually incorporated her background to serve as a civil litigator and transactional attorney. She has lent her time to volunteer as a pro bono attorney at various community legal clinics focused on family law, real estate, and probate issues.

Over the years, Bonita has served as a volunteer or leader for several ministries at her church as well as numerous public service organizations that focus on serving communities in the western suburbs.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, movies, exercising and spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies.

Bonita is excited to serve on the MFA Board of Directors. She is a product of Maywood and Broadview, Illinois, having grown up as a student in District 89 and a proud graduate of Proviso East High School. She believes supporting MFA in its mission to bring dance and the arts to the children in Maywood and the surrounding areas is one of the most rewarding contributions she could make to her community.
