Heidi Vance

Heidi Vance is an attorney and entrepreneur.  Heidi worked as an employee benefits attorney at Willis Towers Watson benefits consulting firm in Chicago before eventually starting her own boutique consulting firm with two partners.  She also taught elementary school in the Chicago suburbs and post-baccalaureate paralegal students at Roosevelt University.

Heidi also built a coffeebar, both literally and conceptually in Forest Park, Illinois – Counter Coffee.  She and a business partner operated this coffeebar for several years, grew it into a community hub, then sold it to a dynamic family who is taking it to the next level as Kribi Coffee.

Currently, Heidi owns a long-standing boutique and spa in Forest Park, Illinois – Team Blonde. This business is a place of community for people to relax in the spa and shop for curated gifts, jewelry, and apparel and focuses on products, many of which are eco-friendly, socially-conscious, and support women-owned businesses.

Heidi is proud to have served for 9 years on the Board of Directors for Housing Forward in Maywood, Illinois, working to end homelessness, with 2 of the years as Board President.  Heidi also served for 4 years on the Board of Directors for the Forest Park Chamber of Commerce, with 1 year as Board President.

Heidi has a J.D. from the University of Illinois, Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She is an Oak Park resident.
